V1lat Claims EHOME-Knights DPC China Match Was ‘Fixed’

V1lat did not mince his words about the alleged matchfixing in DPC China, citing the Ehome versus Knights match as latest example.

After countless suspicious match and allegation of cheating, influential person from Dota esports finally spoke out about DPC China. V1lat, the veteran caster from EEU region, claimed that the match between Ehome and Knights was not ‘legal’.

V1lat further made claim that the match itself was fixed. The proof was with the unnatural movement on betting sites.

The legendary Russian caster said that there were abnormal movements of money in the match. Bets were placed on EHOME’s victory on Map 2, including the odd/even number of kills.

He exclaimed that the match itself was fixed due to these suspicious match behavior.

Sadly, V1lat further confirmed that this was not the first game in Season 1 of DPC China with matchfixing. He elaborated that there were games with strange bets as well on First Blood, First Tower, and Odd number of kills. Ever since the start of the season, there were numerous cases of the ‘cheats’ happening.

The responses to V1lat revelation were immediately concerning from the community’s end.

Knights was also in the middle of controversy as there were suspicions of them cheating. They were mentioned to be using sophisticated Maphacks while they were playing DPC China.

However, Valve had not taken any action yet, showcasing benefit of doubt from them and the organizers.
