How Amihan Esports' Wild Rift team conquered the Philippines

Top Tier Wild Rift team Amihan Esports on Saturday (July 17) said the organization will provide evidence to clear their name. Amihan also said that the team will seek justice for the ‘biased’ decision by Riot.

“We will post and announce all of the evidences from our organization,” they said on Facebook.

“We will seek justice with the biases and unjust punishment given to our Organization, Management and our Player AMI Karlll. #AmihanJustice” they added.

Amihan used the latter as a caption in a shared news which headlined their name together with their violations.

Amihan’s Coach Speaks Up

Despite the denial, Amihan’s coach Ferzerk spoke up and told a different story.

According to the coach, he was onboarded to the team without any knowledge on the issues pertaining to their players.

Ferzerk told that on his arrival, Amihan discussed the issue with him together with the promise that they are working on correcting the problem.

“Some period after my onboarding, management disclosed the painted facts of the situation to me. I was honestly surprised. But because I was told that they were already moving to correct the situation, I chose to focus on my work.” he told.

The coach continued to work on his job after the said conversation with Amihan. He told that he was able to grasp all his players’ characteristics in his stay with the team.

He continued saying that he was able to classify his players as his family because of their bond.

Ferzerk also quickly defended the team saying that choosing their players was never a mistake. He told that if he were on the same position, he would not hesitate to choose them as well.

“So if I were a reputable esports organization looking to dominate this scene, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick them up.” he told.

On the same post, the coach warned fans to stop proliferating fake news regarding their map hack, and other ‘violations’ in the scene.

Hyprgame earlier reported that Amihan was facing multiple cheating allegations. All the allegations include map-hacking, and violating Riot’s rules on overseas competitions.

As of this moment, Amihan has yet to disclose its evidence to clear their name.
