Confused Amihan Esports is really getting us confused.
Amihan Esports backtracked its initial announcement saying that Riot’s ban was ‘biased’ and ‘unjust’. This, following its brave stance saying that the organization will be providing evidence to clear their name.
Francis Mariano, Owner of Amihan told on Facebook that the organization is sorry to all people affected by the issue.
“I would like to start with an apology. To Riot Games, PPGL, Mineski and most importantly our fans and the Wild Rift Community – we are deeply sorry for what we have done.” he told.
The CEO admitted that mismanagement got the best out of the team which resulted to issues.
“However, our mismanagement and oversight have led to repercussions,” he admitted on the same post.
Mariano continued to admit that the team definitely used an underaged player in their previous tournaments. The CEO continued to admit that mismanagement led the team to forge documents in their applications.
In addition, Mariano exposed that they already terminated the involved manager.
“Oversight of mismanagement within our organization resulted in his documents being forged by the terminated manager to misrepresent his age.” the CEO said.
In addition, the CEO also denied all cheating allegations pertaining to match-fixing, map hacking, and all other allegations being thrown at the team.
Relating to this issue, many would definitely question the ‘evidence’ that they initially claimed to have. Did they really exist, or maybe Amihan had nothing leading them to apologize instead?
Do you think Amihan backtracked their statement because they don’t have any evidence to defend their side?
