Hito Leaves Smart Omega, Joins Team HAQ for MPL MY S11 Campaign

Team HAQ, the defending champions of the MPL MY S10, has bolstered its lineup for the upcoming season with the addition of Robert Remar “Hito” Candoy as their newest gold laner.

The announcement was made on February 23 on YouTube.

Hito, who was previously a reserve for Smart Omega, is renowned for his post-game antics and is often referred to as the “Chief Entertainment Officer” or CEO. He will be giving up that title to join the Malaysian squad this season.

In an announcement video posted on YouTube, coach Khairul “Pabz” Azman revealed the changes to the roster, including the switch of Poh “Panda” Chun Wai from gold laner to roamer.

Twins Aiman “Mann” Anuar and Aimin “Minn” Anuar remain on the team and will be joined by newcomers AL in the gold lane and Zai in the midlane. Meanwhile, Mohamad “Lolla” Nilzaihan has been appointed as the team captain, while Muhammad “Garyy” Syafizan retains his position as the jungler.

Although Hito hasn’t had much experience on the big stage, his charismatic personality and entertaining antics are expected to boost Team HAQ’s morale as they strive to defend their title this season.

MPL MY Season 11 is scheduled to commence on March 10.
