Famous Football Star Virgil Van Dijk Invests in Tundra

The famous football player for Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk, became an investor and ambassador for Tundra due to passion in esports.

Football fans and also esports fans might not be unfamiliar with the name “Virgil van Dijk”. As one of Liverpool’s best defender, he is a Premier League and Champions League winner with plaudits on his defensive skills.

Ever since Tundra’s achievements in Dota, it seems Virgil became interested in personally sponsoring them.

Tundra announced the sponsorship on their social media accounts. Although Virgil’s name might not be well-known for casual sports fan, his name is a big pull for the public.

Therefore, the Liverpool’s defender involvement in Tundra hoped to boost popularity of esports.

Virgil himself also announced the partnership on his own Twitter account, evidently excited at the partnership.

He also wrote a passage about his partnership with the esports team:

Interestingly, Tundra and VVD also released a music video in collaboration with the rapper P Money. With such a grand announcement, fans of the team hoped a greater reach towards the public in the future.
