Z4pnu’s Z4 Seeks Slot in MPL Season 9

Z4 is ticking, and it might actually explode on MPL PH Season 9!

OMEGA Esports Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso revealed on his vlog that his team, Z4, may join the upcoming season of MPL PH.

On his vlog, Billy told that his Z4 is just waiting for Moonton’s opening of new franchise slots for the upcoming MPL.

“For now, it’s still uncertain if Z4 Esports will debut because there are still no updates from Moonton if the next season will still be an 8 teams or 10 teams franchise,” he said. “If it’s 10 teams, we’ll definitely grab a franchise,” he added.

Meanwhile, Alfonso added that he’s still in the process of collecting players for his team. Aside from players, Alfonso also noted that he’s also looking for managers who will supervise both teams 1 and 2 of Z4.

Aside from roster sniping, Z4pnu also revealed that he’s already looking for a house that he can use as bootcamp for Z4.

Z4pnu also mentioned that a franchise will cost him PHP 50 million. Despite the cost, Billy maintained that he can manage it as long as completes building his team, and their bootcamp.

“This is what I’ve been waiting for, to build my own team,” stated Z4pnu.

Potentially, Z4pnu mentioned about his dream bootcamp to be close to OMEGA Esports’ own bootcamp.

“I prefer it (Z4 Esports boot camp) being close to our boot camp (Omega Esports),” he said. “So we can stay in line with the teams,” he continued.

As of this moment, it is still unclear when will Moonton announce the opening of new franchise slots. Regardless, it appears Z4pnu is already committed to the start of his career as owner for Z4.
