VALORANT is building up on a new agent which they hinted on the newly updated Breeze.

In the recent teasers and speculations, the new agent will be named “Grenadier”. The newly updated map reeked of several hints for the new agent.

The new breeze included changes that seemed to be hints for Grenadier. Lore enthusiast Disturbe decoded the Breeze teasers for fans to understand.

Currently, players can notice a knife stuck to a box. According to speculations, the said knife will be part of Grenadier’s skill set used to silence opponents. Speculations say that it is a teaser for Grenadier’s agent abilities.

Character producer John Goscicki posted a cryptic hint for the new agent.

“This time around we are throwing in some abilities that should feel familiar to folks who’ve played traditional FPS games their whole lives, but with added elements that will make those recognizable abilities unique within our roster,” he wrote.

“This is an Agent who’s utility can create moments where you must rely on your gunplay.” he added.

In the same post, Goscicki wrote an odd jumble of letters. The Character producer eventually claimed that his “keyboard stopped working”. This claim led fans to assume that Grenadier has the capability to disable agents from using skills.

Grenadier New Skills

According to fans’ speculations, the upcoming agent’s skill set will deny agents from using abilities. Fans assume that Grenadier will force gunfights from enemies.

Meanwhile, fans also claim that the knife that was stuck in a box was Grenadier’s which he used to silence opponents.

In the recent updates, Breeze has already had subtle changes.

Originally, “Sequence Initiated” was visible on Breeze. In one of the recent updates, the text changed to “Target Locked”. Currently, the said text reads “Arrival Imminent”.
