Sick YBB’s Situation Worsens as Scammers Pose as Scammed Victims to Claim Refunds

Malaysian influencer and YouTuber Yang Bao Bei or famously known as YBB has been on top of Malaysia’s news following her suicide attempt.

The influencer’s situation started to complicate when victims surfaced claiming that the influencer was a scammer, and that she was in huge debt which made people assume that the influencer may have tried to take away her life because of these problems.

This time, however, the issue behind her suicide attempt becomes more complicated as reports say that there are people who are pretending to be the people whom YBB scammed in order to claim refund.

According to reports, YBB’s family members offered to repay Yang Bao Bei’s victims, provided they have proof.

This action by YBB’s family however invited more scammers as thieves have surfaced pretending to be the influencer’s victim in order to get paid.

Based on reports, scammers would first pretend to be YBB’s relatives and would contact the victims to ask for their personal details.

These details that the scammers would get will be used for their modus of pretending to be victims to claim the actual refund.

According to one victim, he only discovered that she was being scammed after he asked YBB’s boyfriend regarding the legitimacy of people pretending to be the influencer’s relatives.

Despite alleged greediness being the cause of this big issue, greediness continues to flock on YBB just to capitalize on her situation.

We hope for the influencer’s recovery, and that this matter would start to get resolved for YBB’s welfare.
