Scamming, Financial Crisis Issues Surface Following Yang Bao Bei’s Suicide Attempt

There’s always a big reason behind every problem. For Yang Bao Bei, there’s many of them.

Yang Bao Bei who was reported earlier for her suicide attempt is yet again going viral after nosey netizens uncovered the reason behind her attempt.

Apparently, the local public figure who was rescued by firemen has been in huge debt, at least according to rumors. Speculations also say that the influencer has been involved in scamming people by selling luxury bags online.

Victims who have surfaced claim that the influencer would sell branded bags at different prices. According to the same people, the influencer would make them choose which bag they want, and that they would have to pay upfront.

The victims claim that they did not receive the bags despite paying the required amount. When they tried to contact YBB, the influencer would simply make excuses, or not reply to them at all.

Said victims also told reporters that they already escalated their situations to the police, with one even claiming that he/she only wanted to get the money back, and that pushing the influencer to the edge was not part of his/her intentions.

Receipts being shown as evidence tells that the victims have paid between RM2000 to RM 5500 to the influencer for the bags.

Another victim who surfaced claim a different scamming scenario. According to the victim, she had given the influencer RM30,000 as the YouTuber told that she was in dire need of it for an emergency.

Despite lending the influencer her money, she was taken aback after finding out that she got defrauded. The victim also disclosed that she is now working on building a case against the influencer.

Although disappointed about the money that they lost, the victims also expressed their sadness over the YouTuber’s situation and hope that the influencer would recover soon. “There are still many friends and netizens who care about her.” one of the victims told.
