GPX to Buyout EVOS Wannn?

During Wannn’s break at MPL ID Season 7, he admitted that he did not mind if he would be bought out by another team.

EVOS Wannn played in the MPL ID Season 7 Week 1. Suddenly, he didn’t play in the succeeding weeks. It turned out that Wannn decided to take a temporary break then was replaced by Ferxiic. Currently, he is in Pontianak and focuses on being a streamer. There is no detailed news from EVOS Legends if Wannn will return to play on MPL ID Seaon 7 for the Playoff phase or not.

When interviewed by RevivaL TV on their YouTube channel in the ‘Fact or Cap’ session, Wannn admitted that he didn’t mind being bought out by GPX or Geng Kapak Esports.

“Yes, it is. If (they) really buy me, I will accept it,” said Wannn when asked by hosts.

GPX or Geng Kapak Esports is a fairly new team, but its members include former pro players like Donkey and Oura. The news about GPX participating in the MPL ID has already been discussed, and they are trying to get an MPL ID slot in the next season. GPX said that there are some investors or sponsors who are ready to join them in the MPL ID.

Wannn shared that he had spoken to Donkey as well. In the conversation, it was seen that Donkey, also known as Yurino, began to persuade Wannn to join GPX.

“Let EVOS be strong, then you go to GPX,” teased Donkey with a laugh.

“But now EVOS is really strong, huh? I’m getting insecure, Yur,” replied Wannn.

“Just keep them stronger! So you’ll join GPX, Wan. You will beat EVOS later,” said Donkey confidently. “Keep your spirit with GPX,” he continued.

EVOS Legends has indeed increased their ability. They passed to the upper bracket in the Playoff MPL ID Season 7. Seems like it will be interesting if GPX can make it into the MPL ID Season 8 and fight EVOS Legends later!
