SONIQS emerged as PUBG Global Series 2 champions, claiming the largest share of the $2.3 million prize pool and securing a spot in PUBG Global Championship 2023 alongside three other teams.

The offline Grand Finals in Riyadh from August 18-20 saw intense competition over 18 matches, with North American team Soniqs—Hunter “hwinn” Winn, Tristan “Shrimzy” Nowicki, James “TGLTN” Giezen, and Austin “M1ME” Scherff—taking home $600,000.

Soniqs’ dominance showed with 9 Chicken Dinners, the most in the tournament.

TGLTN earned the MVP title and a $20,000 bonus for his exceptional 29 kills in the finals, leading his team to victory.

The event is a stepping stone to PUBG Global Championship in Bangkok from November 28 to December 3.

The previous PGC in 2022 featured a prize pool exceeding $3.3 million.
