RRQ Bounces Back, Ties ONIC Atop MPL Indonesia

Coming off a shocking loss to Alter Ego, RRQ Hoshi quickly recovered and swept Dewa United Esports, 2-0, to force a tie with ONIC Esports at the top of the MPL Indonesia Season 12 standings last Sunday.

Schevenko “Skylar” Tendean had a dominant performance on Beatrix to open the series. The 21-year-old gold laner recorded 12 of the team’s total 15 kills in Game 1 to go along with two kills and two deaths to lead the 15-4 triumph in 15 minutes and 29 seconds.

Skylar continued to turn it up in Game 2, scoring six kills and four assists against one death on Irithel to spearhead RRQ Hoshi’s 14-4 in 17 minutes and 18 seconds.

With the win, RRQ Hoshi has now tied ONIC Esports at the top spot with identical 6-2 records entering the second half of the tournament.
