ONIC Esports Bounces Back, Sweeps Alter Ego

ONIC Esports bounced back from its sorry loss to Geek Fam and turned back Alter Ego, 2-0, in the MPL Indonesia Season 12 regular season at the XO Hall (MPL Arena), Sunday night.

The reigning back-to-back MPL ID champion escaped Geek Fam in the opener, scoring a 16-11 Game 1 win in 26 minutes and five seconds.

Calvin “CW” Winata’s Claude starred in Game 1, notching a game-high six kills to go along with eight assists against one death while Sanz “Sanz” Gilang’s Faramis had a game-high 13 assists to go along with two kills and a death.

After getting challenged by Geek Fam in the opening game, ONIC Esports made sure to dispatch its opponent swiftly via a 20-4 Game 2 win in 21 minutes and six seconds.

Sanz’s Faramis once again stepped up and registered six kills and nine assists without a death while Kairi “Kairi.” Rayosdelsol had six kills and six assists against one death.

Kairi was benched in the team’s match against Geek Fam yesterday and was replaced by Albert “Alberttt” Iskandar.

ONIC Esports will go up against Dewa United on Friday while Alter Ego looks to bounce back against EVOS Legends on Saturday.
