REKT Unretires From Pro Play, Signs Deal With Alter Ego

Alter Ego made a bombshell announcement right after the conclusion of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023 (MSC 2023).

The organization revealed that they have recruited Gustian “REKT,” a highly regarded player in Indonesia.

REKT had previously played during Season 9 with EVOS Legends before taking a break from professional play.

REKT’s reputation precedes him as he was a part of the EVOS Legends’ WORLD roster that emerged victorious in the inaugural M1 World Championship.

Considered one of the best players in Indonesia, his inclusion in Alter Ego’s lineup signifies their ambition to replicate the success that Muhammad “Udil” Ardiansyah brought to the team when he was recruited in Season 6.

During a press conference, Alter Ego’s Chief Operating Officer, Indra Hadiyanto, explained the rationale behind signing REKT.

He emphasized the desire to emulate Udil’s impact and contributions to the team.

By recruiting REKT, Alter Ego aims to secure their first MPL Indonesia title in Season 12, after facing disappointment in previous attempts.
