Outplay Undergoes Roster Changes after Disappointing MSC 2023 Performance

Another big team in North America might be gone just a few days after the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023.

Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun has revealed that three members of Outplay will be leaving the squad after a disappointing performance in recent tournaments.

He said during a livestream that Peter Bryce “Basic” Lozano, Oscar “SHARK” Vo, and Rainiel “URESHIII” Logronio have left the squad to look for new opportunities.

This leaves only him, Bestplayer1, and Promise in the lineup.

The team was considered a powerhouse at first, dominating the regular season of NACT Spring Split 2023. However, things fell apart after they lost 3-4 against BTK in the grand final to lose their MSC 2023.

However, they were still chosen as the NA representatives after internal issues surrounding BTK forced them to forfeit their slot. Still, Outplay underperformed and had no series wins in the group stage of MSC 2023 and failed to secure a knockout stage spot.

There is still no news on whether Outplay will compete in the next NACT.
