Outplay EXP laner Rainiel “URESHIII” Logronio is set to miss the upcoming North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) Spring 2023 grand finals in Las Vegas, the team announced on Wednesday.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Ureshi will not be able to join us in Las Vegas,” the team said in a Facebook post.
URESHIII helped Outplay sweep the regular season with a perfect 14-0 win-loss standing. The team did not drop a single game, sweeping their way into the grand finals where they will take on Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun’s BloodThirstyKings.
With the Filipino EXP laner set to miss the event, Outplay has tapped Promise to fill in the hole left by URESHIII.

Promise played for The Simpsons during the NACT Fall and powered his squad to the grand finals where they lost to The Valley, whose players are now his teammates in Outplay.
“However, we are excited to announce that Promise will be stepping in as our EXP laner for the NACT Grand Finals,” said Outplay in a statement.
“For those of you who may not know, Promise is no stranger to the competitive scene. He previously competed as an EXP laner for the Simpsons (oSp) dominating the NACT fall season and successfully made it to the grand finals where they took 1st runner up against The Valley which comprised of former OP members.”
The winner of the NACT Spring will represent the region in the upcoming 2023 MSC and the IESF World Championships.
