Team Secret and Rex Regum Qeon banner the seven teams set to see action in the Valorant Champions 2023: Pacific Last Chance Qualifier already set in July.

Following the events of the VCT Pacific League, which saw DRX, Paper Rex and T1 punch their tickets to the Tokyo Masters and the Champions Los Angeles, the seven teams that failed to qualify will battle for the top spot and the lone ticket to the Champions in the tournament set to run on July 15-23 in Seoul, South Korea.

Team Secret which placed 5th-6th during the Pacific League, all thanks to a late miracle run in the regular season and in the early goings in the playoffs will tangle against playoffs tormentor and fourth place Gen.G, Zeta Division, Global Esports, Talon Esports and Detonation FocusMe.

Team Secret showed some semblance of life in the latter part of the tournament despite a shaky start. A stunning upset win over top seed DRX seemed to have fired up the all-Filipino crew and staved off possible elimination with a sweep of its last two games in the regular season.

In the playoffs, Team Secret stunned higher seeded Zeta Division with a 2-0 sweep in the first round before falling to the lower bracket after a heartbreaking 2-1 reverse sweep loss to DRX.

TS then suffered another sorry 2-1 reverse sweep loss to Gen.G in the lower bracket ultimately ending the team’s miracle run.

Format and venue of the LCQ has yet to be revealed but an announcement is already expected as the event draws near.
