‘King’ SumaiL Reportedly Getting Royal Treatment From Team Aster

Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan is reportedly getting the treatment that perfectly fits a king as Team Aster is pulling out all the stops needed to make sure that the superstar has all that he needs in the team’s bid to qualify for The International 12.

In a livestream, Team Aster’s head shared that the team’s headquarters in Shanghai has many Western restaurants around its vicinity that could help SumaiL feel at home.

He also said that the team is prepared to hire a personal chef just for the star mid laner just in case he wants something more specific. It can be remembered that SumaiL was a picky eater during his time with Evil Geniuses.

The language barrier between SumaiL and Team Aster has also been addressed by the team’s top brass. SumaiL is about to start his Chinese lessons while the rest of the group will make an effort to learn some basics in the English language.

According to the livestream, Team Aster met with SumaiL and talked to him about their chances of qualifying to The International. The latter replied by saying: “Don’t worry about that; since I am here, we will definitely get a direct qualification.”

Team Aster brought in SumaiL during the Berlin Major where he played as stand-in for Zhai “Xwy” Jingkai.

Despite the language barrier, the former TI champion managed to help his new squad finish 7th-8th in Berlin. They were eliminated by eventual grand finalist and SumaiL’s former team, Team Liquid, in the second round of the lower bracket.

After the tournament, Team Aster immediately forged an arrangement with Nigma Galaxy to have SumaiL play for them until after The International 12. The Chinese team is also reportedly in talks with Nigma Galaxy about SumaiL’s future.

Team Aster definitely liked what they saw from the youngest player to win TI and even described him as the ‘perfect mid’ to play with the rest of the roster.
