Did Old G buy PuckChamp’s slot?

Well, it looks like it as the Old G roster registered under PuckChamp in the Dota 2 Majors Registration page for the final tour of the Dota Pro Circuit.

Old G Likely to Qualify Easily as Opponent Forfeits

This comes after Old G was disqualified by PGL for reportedly violating the league’s ‘rule of conduct by threatening members of the admin team and exposing them to public harassment.’

According to reports, the one who violated the rule of conduct was Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, who publicly criticized PGL’s decision to disqualify Old G.

The team lent both Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok and Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi to BetBoom and OG, respectively, in the Berlin Major which left OG with only three players in the tiebreaker match. PGL’s rules state that four players from the original roster must be fielded.

Coincidentally, PuckChamp is the team that won against Old G via default in the tiebreaker match.

Old OG" Now Official With Former The International Champs

Fans of the Dota 2 community have expressed mixed feelings about Old G potentially acquiring PuckChamp’s slot. While some are excited to see the team back in action, others feel that it sets a negative precedent for player behavior in the competitive scene.

The Dota Pro Circuit has been cracking down on toxicity and inappropriate conduct, and some fans feel that allowing Old G to compete again undermines the league’s efforts to maintain a safe and healthy environment for players and staff.
