The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League (MDL PH Season 1 playoffs) has revealed that the highly anticipated playoffs will take place online from April 21 to 23, 2023.
Six teams have qualified for the season and will be competing for the coveted title and a share of the USD 20,000 prize pool.
The regular season concluded with six teams emerging as the top contenders for the championship title: Blacklist Academy, Bren Euphoria, Echo Proud, GameLab, Smart Omega Neos, and RSG Ignite.
MDL PH Season 1 format
The playoffs for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League are set to begin on April 21 and 22, with the six qualifying teams competing in a single elimination best-of-three (BO3) match series.
The first matchup will be between Blacklist Academy and RSG Ignite. The Grand Finals will be held on April 23, 2023 and will feature a best-of-five (BO5) format to determine the winner of the first season of MDL.

All MDL PH Season 1 award
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League has announced several awards that will be given out during the tournament.
The Grand Final MVP will be awarded to a player from the champion team who performs exceptionally well during the finals.
The Team of the Season will be comprised of players from different teams who have demonstrated outstanding performances throughout the season.
Both the Regular Season MVP and Grand Final MVP will be determined by a voting committee made up of talents, coaches, and the MPL Philippines Press Corps, while the Team of the Season will be decided based on assumed roles.
Additionally, the Best MDL Talent will be chosen based on several criteria, including performance, knowledge, and punctuality, with voting open to fans until April 14 on the MPL Philippines official website.
