Blacklist Academy Activates OHEB Ahead of Tight Playoff Race

Blacklist Academy has decided to activate former M-series MVP Kiel “OHEB” Soriano ahead of the final week of the MDL Philippines Season 1 regular season, the organization announced last Thursday.

The MDL Philippines playoffs race in Group A is proving to be a close one with four teams still fighting for the last two spots.

GameLab already secured the first playoffs seat in the group while RSG Slate (6-5, 18 pts) and Blacklist Academy (5-6, 17 pts) are sitting at the second and third spots. Meanwhile, NXPE Tiger Cubs (5-6, 14 pts) and ONIC Arsenal (5-6, 14 pts) are not too far behind.

Blacklist Academy will get its much-needed boost as OHEB, despite opting to skip Season 11, is still considered as one of the best gold laners in the ML:BB scene.

OHEB played a huge role in Blacklist International’s three MPL championships as well as its world title run in the M3 World Championship.

Blacklist Academy will face Omega Neos on March 28 before ending the elimination round against ZOL Esports.
