Blacklist International finally brought in help, elevating Howard “Owl” Gonzales to its MPL Philippines roster from the MDL Philippines on Friday night.

Owl, who has been playing well for Blacklist Academy in the development league, is set to make his MPL debut after spending the past couple of years in the amateur scene.

In exchange, the Tier One-backed squad relegated content creator and streamer Jomari David “Archer” Perez to the Academy roster.

Owl is definitely a welcome addition to the organization’s MPL roster as they now have lost three of their last four games in the tournament which put them at the fourth spot with an even 4-4 win-loss standing.

Chemistry will definitely not be an issue as he already played with Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario in the 31st Southeast Asian Games where they helped the Philippines claim its second consecutive medal in the ML:BB event.

Owl’s promotion came just days after Blacklist International announced the activation of Kiel “OHEB” Soriano, who is set to play for Blacklist Academy during the final stretch of the elimination round.

The team has yet to announce if they have any plans to bring OHEB as well to the MPL.
