Army Geniuses, Polaris Esports promoted to DPC SEA Division I

Army Geniuses and Polaris Esports recently got their promotion to Division I following impressive performances in the Dota Pro Circuit Southeast Asia Tour 1: Division II.

The Indonesian team currently has a perfect 6-0 win-loss standing at the top spot while the Filipino squad clinched the second seed with a 6-1 win-loss record.

Army Geniuses still have one match left Team Flow later today but are already assured of a spot in Division I.

Polaris Esports actually came from Division I in the final tour of the 2022 season but ended up in last place after dropping all of its seven assignments. Meanwhile, Army Geniuses fell a game short in forcing a tiebreaker for the top and second seeds during the third tour which kept them in Division II.

Now, both Army Geniuses and Polaris Esports can finally strut their wares in SEA’s top Dota 2 tournament once again where they will take over the spots lost by BOOM Esports and Fnatic.

Both teams will join Talon Esports, Geek Slate, Execration, Blacklist International, Team SMG, and Bleed Esports in the second tour of the 2023 DPC SEA season.
