Army Geniuses mid laner Yuri “Yowe” Pacana trolled Blacklist Rivalry offlaner and his good friend Carlo “Kuku” Palad following his team’s huge win over the latter in the Dota Pro Circuit Southeast Asia 2023 Tour 2: Division I.

Blacklist Rivalry’s team building prior to the tournament proved to be not enough as the Tier One-backed squad as they dropped three consecutive losses to start the season with the recent one at the hands of the recently-promoted Army Geniuses, who came from Division II in the last tour.

Yowe made sure to let Kuku and the rest of his team know, trolling the Filipino offlaner after the team secured the sweep-clinching Game Two.

“HIGHLIGHTS KA MUNA KU,” said Yowe through chat just seconds after Blacklist Rivalry called GG following a five-man wipe by Army Geniuses.

Yowe went for a surprise Riki pick in Game One and helped Army Geniuses secure a quick 25-4 Game One win over Blacklist Rivalry which lasted for only 25 minutes and 43 seconds.

The former TNC mid laner then delivered 11 kills and 19 assists against eight deaths in the 43-32 Game Two win in 58 minutes as the Army Geniuses (3-1) forced a tie with Talon Esports (3-0) and Team SMG (3-0).

Turning serious during the post-game interview, Yowe said that the team has been working hard throughout their build up for Tour 2.

“Maybe we just give it all, one hundred percent every day. This whole month we practiced, we talked about some things like we’re practicing laning also,” Yowe said.

“There’s no break for us because our schedule also is every other day so we really need to grind,” he added.

As for his personal performance, the ex-Execration standout bared that nothing really changed in terms of his personal approach. It’s just that his teammates trust him more unlike his former team.

Yowe, Febby to lead TNC's new era

Before playing for Army Geniuses, Yowe spent the past year with TNC.

“Nothing changed for me. The difference is just that this team compared to my previous team is they want to enable me, they want to play with me not because I’m playing with them,” said Yowe.

“The Riki call, I’m the one who [called it]. I’m sure about it but I don’t want to be selfish but they trust me. All of them said Puck but I said I want to play Riki, I feel like I don’t want to be selfish since but they trust me and [we] picked Riki.”
