Kekedoot Admits Getting Traumatized After MPL PH S7 Campaign

ONIC PH roamer Jefferdson “Kekedoot” Mogol admitted that he was traumatized by his previous experience in the MPL Philippines.

Back in Season Seven, Kekedoot, who was playing in his rookie season for Cignal Ultra, played his heart out and became the team’s best performer at the time but Cignal failed to secure a single win in the tournament which booted them out of the league.

“Sa nangyari sa Cignal parang natotrauma na akong maglaro kasi nga wala kaming panalo nun eh,” Kekedoot said.

After that traumatic experience, Kekedoot managed to make his way back into the big league after being acquired by ONIC PH for Season 10.

However, the former Monster Anarchy standout only served as backup to up-and-coming roamer Ralph “Rapidoot” Adrales which buried him deep into ONIC PH’s bench.

Kekedoot, though, finally had his chance this Season 11 as Rapidoot decided to take a break and transfer to the team’s MDL squad to focus on his studies. This gave Kekedoot to finally showcase his wares in the MPL almost two years after the traumatic experience he endured in Season Seven.

“Napepressure din ako ngayong season bago kami magpilian ng mga lalaro. Tas ginawa ko na lang yung best ko kasi inisip ko wala namang mangyayari kung susuko ako. Ayun, maganda naman yung nangyari kaya masaya ako,” he said.

Kekedoot credited his teammates and coaches for helping him overcome that incident. He also vowed to repay their trust and help ONIC PH reach the finals in Season 11.

“Sa mga tulong ng coach po. Yung lagi nila akong tinutulungan. Sinasabi nila sakin na kailangan mag-move forward ka lagi. Mag-move forward ka na kasi tapos na yan e, nangyari na.”
