Cignal Ultra Has Cheap Internet, Loses to 496 After Losing Signal

Imagine having a dream of qualifying for The Internationals, but internet is your hindrance… Ironically, Cignal Ultra shares that problem.

Cignal Ultra faced an ironic internet problem versus 496 where they lost 2-0, a clean sweep following high ping and lag issues.

Game one of the series started with an immediate pause after three of the players from Cignal Ultra had to reconnect as they were experiencing an internet issue.

The pause lasted for almost two minutes, one that signaled Cignal a high ping game. 496 on the other hand failed to capitalize on the issue early game as Cignal drew first blood on the first bounty phase of the game after killing Yasy in a 4-man gank.

Despite having a first blood advantage, the internet disadvantage of Cignal posed as a threat after 496 snowballed their way all throughout the game forcing their win 27mins in.

Fans were quick to lambast Cignal after their game 1 performance, with comments mostly saying that they should rename their team with ‘No Cignal Ultra’.

Other comments also say that the series was an easy 2-0 sweep for 496 as Cignal Ultra was not a threat, saying that some betting sites did not even include the game for betting.

Following their win, 496 now sits on a 1-2 standing while Cignal Ultra remains on a 0-3 quicksand.
