North America, MENA (Middle East and North Africa), and Turkey will all get the chance to join the Southeast Asian squads in the regional tournament hosted by Moonton.

“The transition for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup into a global mid-season tournament has been planned in the pipeline for some time, and this year is a good start to kick-starting the transition,” said Guo.

“In line with our mission – Esports for Everyone; we wanted to provide these budding regions more opportunities to compete on an international level and will gradually look to upscaling the tournament model in the future,” she added.

The winner of the MPL MENA, ML:BB Turkey Championship, and the North America Challenger Tournament will represent their respective regions in the MSC.

Teams such as The Valley (USA), Incendio Supremacy (Turkey), Occupy Thrones (Egypt) are all expected to join their respective qualifiers.

RSG Slate PH is the defending MSC champion after beating RRQ Hoshi in the grand finals via sweep.
