MLBB is Finally Home! Hit Mobile MOBA Finally Set For Release in China

After seven long years, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is finally home.

The mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by Chinese publisher Moonton recently got clearance for release in China.

Mobile Legends, which will be called ‘The Pinnacle of Decisive Victory’ in China, is part of the April 2023 batch set for release under entry #57.

The approval from the National Press and Publication Administration of China comes as a big win for Moonton, as the game has been a massive success globally with over 1 billion downloads. 

However, the game faced stiff competition from other popular MOBA games such as League of Legends and Honor of Kings, both of which already have a strong presence in China.

With the game’s release in China, Moonton hopes to establish a strong foothold in the highly competitive Chinese gaming market. The company plans to introduce new features and content tailored to the Chinese market to attract more players. 

The game’s Chinese release also opens up opportunities for esports events and tournaments in the country, as Mobile Legends has already established itself as a major esports title in other regions.
