Wrecker and Shinboo are among the many of Team Pacuiao GG’s recruits!
Presidential aspirant and international boxing icon Sen. Manny Pacquiao has finally launched his venture into the esports industry.
Team Pacquiao GG (TPGG) is reported to be an official partnership between Pacquiao and Veloce who’s currently expanding towards Southeast Asia.
According to reports, the tie-up has already been in the works since 2020 as told by Ryan Tveter of Veloce.
Among the many recruits of the Team Pacquiao GG are MLBB star Wrecker and veteran shoutcaster Shinboo.
Based on the team’s launch, Ghost Wrecker will be representing the MLBB group alongside Super Kimbie. Additionally, Wrecker is reported to be heading the team’s charity works.
Meanwhile, Shinboo is said to head the team’s hostings and shoutcasting. According to the official website, Shinboo will be TP’s content host.
In a statement, Team Pacquiao is reported to be venturing in Mobile Legends, Valorant, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Call of Duty, Halo, and Axie Infinity, and many more.
Tveter added that the partnership will focus purpose-driven initiatives in the future.
“Team Pacquiao GG is a gaming, esports, lifestyle, and content brand led by Manny Pacquiao, and powered by Veloce,” he said.
In the meantime, fans are to expect many merch sales and entertaining content from the team. As of this moment, it remains uncertain whether the team will also be entering the pro-scene in its target games.
