Alliance’s 6th-man (PPD) is out!
PPD who had just become Alliance’s coach few months ago has already bid his farewell from the team.
The retired TI champion announced on his Twitter page that his time as coach for Alliance has ended. This surprised fans as he joined the team only in early May.
In his post, PPD thanked Alliance for the opportunity of being a coach. At the same time, PPD also expressed his hopes of joining another team as coach.
Currently, Peter “ppd” Dager told that he intends to go back to streaming instead.
The coach’s departure from the team followed after their poor performance in the AniMajor where they placed in 9th-12th.
“Looks like my time with @theAllianceGG has come to an end. Thank you for the opportunity. Working with a team is something I am truly passionate about and hope to do it again in the future. For now I’ll be back to streaming so I’ll see you there. Thanks everyone.” he told on Twitter.
PPD’s run with Alliance was a very harsh one following cheating controversies.
Alliance was named “cheaters” by the scene, especially by OG following PPD getting exposed of communicating with the team during a professional game.
Alliance placed in number for EU during the DPC Season 2 where the team was found using a 6th-man in-game.
According to Alliance, they were not cheating as all their actions were in accordance with the new rules released by Valve.
Teams and fans alike flamed Alliance for exploiting the new rule which, according to pros was common sense.
Where do you think will PPD land his talents next? Do you think his ‘cheating’ issue will cost his future in the scene?
