Exort Departs NXP; Lunox God now a Free Agent

Is Nexplay starting to erase its name from the scene?

Nexplay started their off-season with an announcement stating the release of Dexter “Exort” Martinez from the team’s roster.

The announcement comes after NXP’s poor performance in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League. Nexplay’s disappointing performance placed only in top 8, a shameful performance after losing to rookie team Work Auster Force.

In an official Facebook post, Nexplay gave praise to their ‘Lunox God’. The team narrated Exort’s contributions to the team before announcing that the player was departing from the team.

“We would like to announce Exort’s exit from our ML team roster,” the organization captioned their post.

“Thank you for being a part of Nexplay Esports, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors,”

Originally, Exort joined NXP to replace Chester who also placed in top 8 with the team in season 6.

Dexter is famous in the league for his Lunox plays where he got the name “Lunox-God”. Exort’s aggressive playstyle make such heroes, including Yve, a force to be reckoned with by other teams.

With his extensive resume, Exort is definitely a free agent that is worth the consideration.

This, despite Exort not giving any announcement as to where he would land his talents next.

NXP Being Bought by EVOS Esports

Prior to Exort’s announced departure, Nexplay was shrouded with rumors that the organization is being bought by EVOS Esports.

Speculations say that EVOS is trying to revive its Philippine roster by purchasing the team.

The rumor has a huge possibility as EVOS PH Facebook page teased a comeback with a post, “Hello hello testing 1,2,3… Anyone here? #EVOSROAR”
