EVOS PH Mobile Legends division is back again!

Not only that, but they will acquire one of the MPL PH teams.

Some EVOS Indonesian fans may have already known the news that EVOS Philippines will make a comeback.

For those of you who don’t know, the EVOS franchise in the Philippines is not the first time. They had appeared in MPL PH S3. Unfortunately, they immediately let go of all their players after disappointing results in Season 4.

It was also reported that the Philippines will use the Franchise League system in MPL PH Season 8, just like in Indonesia. Each team that invests USD 1 million or around 14 billion Rupiah as a franchise fee in MPL Indonesia is qualified to a permanent slot. Through the profit sharing system, the registered team will get more than 50% of MPL’s revenue before deducting the costs borne by MPL. This will protect the Esports team ecosystem.

EVOS PH Plan for MPL PH Season 8

With the new system, teams who want to register certainly must have large funds. They also definitely need new investors to be able to secure the slot. Therefore, according to a report, EVOS Esports is in negotiations to acquire the Nexplay Esports roster of the Mobile Legends division.

If the negotiation becomes successful, EVOS PH will get quality pro players. They are John Paul ‘H2Wo’ Salonga, Renejay ‘Renejay’ Barcarse, and Tristan ‘Yawi’ Cabrera, Dexter ‘Exort’ Martinez, James ‘Jeymz’ Gloria, and Lance ‘LanceCy’ Cunanan.

Seems like the EVOS Esports franchise will be getting larger and larger in Southeast Asia. Indonesia-based EVOS Esports has also opened its franchise in Malaysia, Suhaz EVOS, and Singapore, EVOS SG. Hopefully EVOS PH will be able to compete hard with other big Filipino teams!
