Dogie claims Bren and Blacklist are not cut-off to be part of MPL PH’s playoffs!

Akosi Dogie

In a vlog uploaded by Setsuna “Dogie” Ignacio, the NXP EVOS coach told that Blacklist International and Bren Esports may face early elimination in the ongoing MPL Philippines Season 9.

Currently, both of the world champs are placed at the bottom of the ranking. As per dogie, Bren will have to win in the sixth week to get a chance to qualify for the playoffs.

“While we are still trying to score points, in a way, we know who gets eliminated, Bren and Blacklist,” Dogie told.

Dogie’s statement followed despite NXP EVOS still trying to follow through with their points. Recently, the team faced a humiliating default loss after arriving late for their supposed match.

John “Zico” Michael Dizon, coach for NXP EVOS, also chimed in and mentioned OMEGA Esports. According to the coach, despite OMEGA being at the bottom, their current momentum might be enough for them to climb up.

Meanwhile, for Bren, Dogie thinks a winning streak could actually be their salvation. “I think Bren will need to keep winning starting now,” told Dogie.

As of this writing, ECHO Esports remains at the top of the ranking. The team faced their first defeat against ONIC PH. Meanwhile, Blacklist International remains to struggle in gaining momentum.
