Nigma appears too strong even with a sick Nigma!
Team Nigma showcased their fearsome prowess after defeating Virtus Pro in the upper bracket of the AniMajor playoffs despite having a sick Miracle prior to the game.
The said game was initially postponed right after Miracle was declared sick due to food poisoning. Their postponed game got switched with Quincy Crew versus No.Ping instead in order to ensure Miracle’s recovery.
Miracle was cleared to play after he received an IV drip.
Despite unfit to play prior to the game, Miracle seemed too healthy after creating an Invoker show that fans loved. Miracle’s signature Invoker played the crucial role for their game one win versus VP.
His nightmare of an Invoker became the focus target for VP throughout the game. Despite being microtargeted, Miracle remained slippery and continued to live through clashes and continue to deal devastating damage.
The moment Miracle finished his Aghanims, the game looked like it was already decided as his Cataclysm deleted VP’s heroes in an instant.
In one of his most crucial plays, Miracle gambled on a buyback in order to cast a Cataclysm eventually wiping out VP leading the team to their win.
Their game two looked more one-sided for Nigma as Miracle’s Nigma pick appeared too strong for VP.
With their win, Nigma had secured their Top 6 for the tournament. In addition, the squad is now set to fight in the semi-finals versus the Chinese Dota gods, PSG LGD.
The Kuroky-led team changed the tides of their TI 10 as the team now has the bigger chance of getting a direct invite.
As of this moment, Nigma requires 450 DPC points to get an elusive direct invite for The International. In order to do this, Nigma needs to get a top 2 finish in the AniMajor.
With their performance, Nigma looks more than capable for capturing their goal.
Do you think the team can make a top two finish this AniMajor?
