TNC Predator’s hopes for a direct invite for The International 10 is starting to get elusive.
Following high hopes from fans after getting a 58% probability of getting a direct invite to Dota 2’s biggest tournament, TNC Predator’s direct invite probability started to dwindle down massively following an upsetting defeat versus Lilgun last week.
Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen, resident statistician for Dota 2, had just recently updated his TI Qualification tracker where TNC’s probability went down to 38%– a big decrease from 58% last week.
TNC’s probability went down after facing a massive loss versus Lilgun, and underdog in Southeast Asia for the Dota Pro Circuit regional league.
Filipino fans quickly noticed the big dip, with most expressing their disappointment for the team.
“That was quick, TNC,” one netizen commented, after witnessing the quick decrease in just a span of few days.
“What? What happened, TNC?” another one told, expressing his disappointment after having high hopes prior the updated list.
Meanwhile, Fnatic is currently leading SEA region in the direct invite percent list with their 48.77% probability followed by OB.Neon with 38.59%– close to TNC’s 38.01%.
As of writing, Evil Geniuses remains the only team to secure a direct invite to the tournament. Meanwhile, Virtus.Pro, Invictus Gaming, and Team Secret, all have a 100% probability of getting a direct invite.
