Nobu Gains Popularity After Sex Scandal with Gisel

Michael Yukinobu de Fretes, otherwise known as Nobu, appears on television screen more often after the sex scandal with Gisel. At first, Nobu wanted to refuse, fearing that they would not comply with his terms.

“I have rejected a lot of shows and held things up,” said Nobu. “But I’m afraid I will be labeled as arrogant. (So) I take it, but on my terms. I want the TV show not to discuss the bad stuff. So if they agree, then yes, I’ll accept it,” added Nobu.

Nobu accepted the offers because he believed television is the accepted way to resolve the bad news against him. However, the public doesn’t think the same way. The public thinks Nobu takes advantage in his current popularity.

Gisel also responded to Nobu’s growing popularity. “From my point of view, (it’s) back again to his personal life,” said Gisel. “For me, I’ll just appreciate each other for their future, you see. Just keep positive thinking when it comes to other people. We never know how it will turn out,” Gisel added.

The two celebrities became suspects in the alleged sex video case together on December 29, 2020. Until now, Gisel still fulfills the mandatory report at Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya).

Nobu’s future plan is to marry his girlfriend. Nobu cannot provides any more detailed information, but he confirmed that the wedding will not hold in Jakarta.
