Cloud9 Sets $5 Million Price for TenZ

The feud between Sentinel and Cloud9 in the Valorant Pro competition might be analogous to a battle on the football scene such as El Classico between Barcelona and Real Madrid, or the Manchester Derby between Manchester City and Manchester United.

In order to strengthen the steps and prepare for the next competition, each team, both for the next competition, is in a confusing phase. As soon as possible, each team must be able to determine the composition and structure of the player lineup in the face of the upcoming Valorant Pro competition.

In the midst of preparations to determine the lineup of the teams that will compete, there is an intersection that brings Sentinel with Cloud9 outside the match. The struggle for one of the Valorant Pro players, namely Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, is becoming a hot issue between Sentinel and Cloud9.

Ambiguous may be the right word to describe Sentinel’s stance on the sustainability of the contract with TenZ. Until now, TenZ, which is actually a Sentinel loan player from Cloud9, does not have a clear future to know where it is anchored. Not a few netizens are curious about where TenZ will land after its loan contract with Sentinels ends.

Moreover, Sentinels also don’t seem to have many choices considering that their flagship frontman, Jay “Sinatraa” Won, is suspected of being involved in a sexual harassment case with his ex. As a result, Sinatraa did not have enough time to participate in the Valorants competition, considering that she had to focus on the investigation process.

This is actually a strong reason, so that Sentinel inevitably has to have permanent TenZ in the line up for the Valorant Circuit Tour competition. Therefore, there is an opportunity for Sentinel to add purchase options from Cloud9.

Whether Cloud9 intentionally increased the purchase price of TenZ or not, based on growing rumors, Sentinel had to spend up to 5 million US Dollars to permanent 😱TenZ in Sentinel. Is this a reason because Cloud9 doesn’t want to sell TenZ and then increases its price? With TenZ’s permanent presence in Sentinel, Cloud9 will be matched?

One thing is for sure TenZ has quality. Reflecting on his track record, with Sentinels pulling TenZ out of retirement and becoming the VCT Masters champion, the Canadian man is proving he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level.

We’ll see each strategy from Cloud9 and Sentinel for the future.
