Sentinels’ star player, Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo, recently expressed his perspective on the potential victor of the ongoing VALORANT Champions 2023 tournament.

With the competition now moving into the double-elimination playoffs stage after the conclusion of the group phase, only eight teams remain vying for ultimate glory.

During a live stream on August 14th, TenZ shared his insights.

“Fnatic are just favorites to win their match-up and also favorites to win the event,” he told viewers in an August 14 live stream.

“I think there’s potential for an upset. It’s small, but there’s a chance. But there’s a bigger chance that Fnatic are just going to sweep all the events this year.”

This sentiment aligns with the prevailing sentiment among fans and analysts, given Fnatic’s previous victories in VCT LOCK//IN and VCT Masters Tokyo.

However, Fnatic’s path to victory won’t be without its challenges, particularly as they are set to face a formidable adversary in LOUD.

Despite reports of internal tensions within the LOUD team, the reigning world champions in Valorant have demonstrated their resilience by prevailing over tough competitors like Team Liquid and NAVI from the EMEA region in a demanding group stage.

In this light, it’s evident that the competition remains intense, and all eyes are on the upcoming matches to determine which team will ultimately seize the Valorant Champions trophy.
