BOOM Esports added two key additions for its upcoming campaign in the The International Regional Qualifiers.
The Southeast Asian squad signed Malaysian offlaner Chung “Ws” Wei Shen and Chinese soft support Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao, the team announced in separate posts.
“BoBoKa will join BOOM Esports as a loan player from Team Aster and he will complete our squad for The International 2023 qualifier,” said the team.
“Rolling out our new set of changes. Introducing our new position 3 for The International Qualifiers, please welcome Chung “Ws” Wei Shen. Ws will help us secure a spot to compete at the grandest stage of Dota 2. Let’s give him a warm welcome.”

BOOM Esports is one of the 15 teams that will compete in the upcoming SEA Regional qualifiers.
Joining them are Execration, Bleed Esports, Blacklist Rivalry, Team SMG, Geek Fam, Army Geniuses, Neon Esports, Made in Philippines, Polaris Esports, Myth Avenue Gaming, IHC Esports, SPAWN Team, UD Vessuwan, and Vision.
