Nikobaby Retires; To Focus on Podcasting

During his first stream after many years of being a professional player, Nikobaby has officially retired from the professional scene.

All good things must come to an end, including Nikobaby’s career as a professional player. Nikobaby retired after 8 years of a professional career with various achievements under his belt.

During his retirement confirmation, Niko also revealed some of his plans for the future.

Niko revealed his retirement while streaming on Twitch, although he was at first talking about something else. He was starting to talk about his plans for the future, saying that he would be focusing on streaming and podcasting.

Then, when one of the viewers asked, Nikobaby mentioned that he was done with professional Dota for good.

“No, I’m not gonna continue being a pro, a hundred percent. No more pro gaming for me, a hundred percent.”

Niko also mentioned that he will be having Loda as his first guest for his podcast. Loda’s presence should indicate his positive relationship within the organization, even if he’s not with them anymore.

Nikobaby began his career with Gplay back in 2014 and picked up his career during his time with Balkan Bears. His performance led him to be picked up by SEA organizations such as Clutch Gamers and Mineski.

His excellent performance with Mineski at TI9 earned him a spot at Alliance during his return to Europe.

With Alliance, Nikobaby received several achievements and accolades. He managed to win Dreamleague Season 12, EPIC League Season 2, and 2021 DPC WEU.

However, his last game against Team Bald Reborn remark an unhappy ending to his illustrious career.
