Team Secret destroyed T1 to secure a spot in the Upper Bracket Final and is one victory away from The International 11 qualification.

Although T1 revolved around two legendary players, the well-oiled Team Secret faced no difficulty in dismantling them. The European juggernaut won two straight games against the SEA contender, and moved forward to the Upper Bracket Final.

Now, Team Secret is only one match away from The International 11 qualification after the victory.

The match itself delivered its promise of hype, although it was quite quick, duration-wise. In the first game, T1 tried a different draft with Topson playing Oracle midlane. The strange draft was swiftly punished by Team Secret’s standard, dominating draft.

In 22 minutes, T1 gave up after being hammered by Resolut1on’s Lycan and Crystallis’ Ursa.

T1 opted for a more traditional game with Topson playing Tiny in the second game. However, Secret seems to have T1 strategy in check as they controlled the second game again. Crystallis with Morphling performed at his peak during the game, picking up no death.

With their clinical execution, Team Secret closed out the second game in the 37th minute. Team Secret went forward to the Upper Bracket Final of the Last Chance Qualifier.

They will be facing Virtus.pro at the Upper Bracket Final of The International 11 Last Chance Qualifier. Virtus.pro themselves were looking solid and on fire, defeating Team Liquid in the semifinals.

However, Team Secret will also look to convert their momentum into a qualification to The International 11, after being denied by Entity.
