The International 11 prize pool is now entering an all-time low since the 2022 Battle Pass sales are not going well.

With numerous anticipation for The International 11, the incoming news seems to discourage fans. Although they were anticipating the 2022 Battle Pass, the players were left with disappointment due to numerous reasons.

The disappointment itself can be seen in The International 11 prize pool, which growth was now an all-time low.

One of the players saw the statistics via the prize pool tracker, and compared them to the past TIs. On Day 5, The International 11 only managed to gain $305,332 from Battle Pass sales.

This was evidently inferior to the past TIs up until TI3, which sets a bad precedent.

Due to this, fans have also been accusing Valve of being “greedy” and manipulating the prize pool with the 2022 Battle Pass time gate. Since Part 2 of the Battle Pass will come out after TI11, sales after the tournament will 100% go to Valve.

However, fans were still hoping that the money could be spread into future DPC tournaments for those instances.

Yet this still made some players worried by the fact that pro players could be less interested in competing. Some of the fans have the opinion that Internationals kept some of the players still playing up until now.

Although it was still speculation, it is hoped that this doesn’t turn into a domino effect and halted the growth of Dota 2 professional scene.
