TI11 Qualifier EEU: BetBoom Upsets Outsiders for TI Invite

BetBoom manages to qualify for The International 11 by beating Outsider despite being the underdogs of the series.

Many expect Outsiders, formerly known as Virtus Pro, will go on and qualify easily for TI11. However, BetBoom somehow performed beyond expectation and beat Outsiders in the TI11 EEU Qualifier Final.

They also won the series convincingly by 3-0, surprising many fans and analysts with their performance.

The first game initially went on par for both teams in early game. Outsiders managed to gain a slight lead in the 15th minute, but the underdogs turned it around while entering the midgame.

With continued sustained pushing from Death Prophet, the new contenders won the game in the 31st minute.

Outsiders once again gave up Death Prophet to the underdogs and prioritized Undying for the second game. BetBoom picked the same draft around both Death Prophet and Enigma, which proved to be successful once again.

The scenario went quite similar to the previous game, with BetBoom peaking during midgame and hitting their timings. BetBoom won the second game in the 31st minute.

Outsiders seemed to learn from their mistakes and banned Enigma in the first phase. However, they let Death Prophet slip away for BetBoom once again and got punished for it. BetBoom picked an early push strat with Beastmaster and Death Prophet, which seemed to work quite well.

With Zeus and Faceless Void as their team fight solution, BetBoom cleanly won the series and clinched the qualifier spot for TI11.

Now, Outsiders will be going to the Last Chance Qualifier with Na’Vi to get the final spot in The International 11.
