OG finally explained Misha’s visa issues that might prevent them from playing with their captain.

Fans of OG are beginning to worry whether their captain, Misha, could make it to TI or not. Although OG have successfully qualified for TI11 by their DPC Points and Major winnings, Misha was not actually there for the LANs.

However, it seems OG have heard the fans’ concerns and tried to make a timeline of Misha’s visa problems in a press release.

They first began by explaining about the circumstances of both Misha and their coach, Chuvash. Since both of them were Russians, they were stranded in Portugal after the war between Russia and Ukraine started.

Chuvash managed to circumvent the Russian visa sanction by having Schengen visa, but Misha did not have his own.

Then, they also explained why Misha missed both Stockholm Major and Arlington Major. For the Stockholm Major, Misha’s application for Schengen visa were denied due to unfortunate events. Ceb had to stand-in for the team, which ended up successfully.

The same thing happened in the Arlington Major, as Misha was unfortunately too late to get his visa to the USA. The visa’s backlog were proven to be too much, and Misha had to sit out another major.

After numerous tries, they finally decided to take the risk of having Misha finalize a new passport for himself. This resulted in him being unable to play for OG for ESL Malaysia.

However, this also increases his chance to attend the upcoming TI11 in Singapore, although it remains unguaranteed.
