Marci Finally Added to Captain’s Mode

Marci received some important buffs after being added to Captain’s Mode!

With the release of 7.31d, now Marci can also be picked up in Captain’s Mode by pro players. Many fans have been waiting for this, because Marci’s role is actually quite flexible, and no one has yet found the optimal playstyle for her.

Before speculating on which role would be a better fit for Marci, let’s take a look at the buffs she received in 7.31d.

The buff she received for Unleash was quite big for the downtime if she wanted to fight. If in the early game she can only use the ultimate every 110 seconds, now the cooldown is reduced to 100 seconds. In high-level Dota, even 1 second is valuable.

However, the actual buff was in her Dispose skill, which many people probably didn’t know about.

Previously, Disposed heroes could activate BKB, Lotus Orb, or other items before being stunned from Dispose. However, they could no longer do that reaction and would definitely be stunned if Marci had already cast the spell.

Even though the throw distance of the skill is nerfed, now the enemy hero cannot react to cancel the stun.
