Ribo to Omega?

OMEGA Esports player Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso revealed on his vlog that they’re courting Ribo to play for the organization in the upcoming MPLI 2021.

According to Alfonso, the organization is looking for a substitute player on behalf of Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic. Patrick was earlier reported to be taking a break from the scene.

Billy said that since Bren Esports will not be playing in MPLI, he’s hoping that they could borrow Ribo for MPLI.

The player says OMEGA prefers having a veteran player which requires lesser time for training.

MPL Invitational 2021 is the most awaited event which will start on November 2, 2021. The tournament is expected to top teams from different regions who will fight for the $100,000 USD prize pool.

“I talked to Ribo, maybe he’ll play for us and replace E2MAX temporarily,” said Alfonso. “Besides, they (Bren Esports) are not participating in the MPLI. Maybe we can have Ribo,” he added.

Currently, Bren Esports and TNC Predator are the only organizations who will be absent in MPLI.

According to Z4pnu, they’re also hoping to have Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel from Bren should Ribo decline.

“I am not sure if he (Ribo) will keep playing, or will he be retiring. I don’t know what he’s planning in life,” he said. “There are others who are available. Pheww is one of the first four, and kids look up to him as their idol,” he added.

As of this moment, Ribo has yet to reveal anything regarding his future plans. Both the player and Bren Esports have yet to disclose their decisions regarding the matter.
