Just 11 days before TI 10, Dota 2 released a new patch!
Valve may have just trolled the Dota 2 pro scene after surprisingly releasing a new patch just a few days ahead of TI.
Reading the patch notes, the developers have integrated massive changes especially in neutral items and some heroes.
Dawn had just been included in the captain’s mode, and it has already received massive changes.
The same reasoning took Tiny to a nerf ride after the hero shocked the pool with a huge pick rate.
Many players expect Tiny to be exploited in TI but things may have drifted differently. Valve has tweaked some of the hero’s stats, more importantly, its toss damage.
Additionally, the developers have also nerfed the hero’s Tree Grab by reducing its cooldown and bonus damage.
Aside from heroes, the nerf hammer has also dropped on items including the very OP Overwhelming Blink.
The dagger upgrade which had caused massive damage in team fights now only causes 100 + 150% strength blink damage. This, compared to its initial stats 200 +100% strength damage.
