Bren Esports are now on their way to the 5th week of MPL PH Season 8 with another plan in mind. The team has been having trouble getting a win this season revealed that the group will be having another experiment in the future.

This decision followed after the team’s core KarlTzy faced multiple heroes denies.

Aside from the hero bans, the team’s coach Duckyyy also explained that the recent update has affected their plans heavily.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.6.18 came in amid the ongoing MPL which fundamentally changed the meta.

Most of KarlTzty’s heroes were disabled in this new patch including his signature heroes Hayabusa and Lancelot.

Meanwhile, Duckyyy became motivated with the new patch saying that they’ll be working around the changes.

“The patch arrived just a few days ago but I can see a lot of possibilities,” the coach stated.

Additionally, the coach said that they’ll make the new patch benefit them very well.

“I think it would be in our favor against ONIC (PH) also in our favor against Nexplay (EVOS),” saying that the patch will work better for them in their upcoming matches.

KalrTzty on the other hand was asked by fans if he’ll be playing any marksman hero in the future. Duckyyy refused to answer this question to keep their future plans in private.

Allan “Lusty” Castromayor also chimed in on the discussion saying that the patch will make him play better as a tank.

“Before the patch, it was hard because there is Lancelot and Haya (Hayabusa). The assassins that have potential in early (game),” he stated.

“Now, I see the early matches being weak,” he added.

Currently, Bren sits at the top 7 of the rankings, only a point behind TNC who sits at the last spot.

Many are hoping that Bren will make a comeback in the 5th week as they face Nexplay EVOS on September 24.
