Bug Exploit? Onic Wins After Taking Advantage of Remake

A bug may have just saved Onic from a disaster!

Onic Esports Philippines outwitted Smart Omega in their week 5 match-up following a glitch that spanned hours.

Onic versus Omega’s game one match up came as a seesaw battle which spanned for minutes. The game was finally decided after Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol took the Lord with a bonus mega kill 16-minutes in.

The second game however was an upside-down story as Omega took command of the exchange. The team took over the game for 11 minutes giving them confidence.

Game 3 Disaster: Bug Favors Onic Against Omega

Game 3 however was definitely a unique experience for both teams. Halfway during the drafting, a bug disrupted Onic’s drafting which tactically dragged the game for hours.

For ‘fairness’, the organizers forced both teams to redraft around 9pm.

Upon the continuation of game 3, Omega appeared to have taken command of the game early to mid-game. The ’18-minute curse’ however came in for the team eventually favoring Onic.

Multiple lord takes have blessed Onic Esports eventually squeezing Omega of free space to work around with.

20 minutes in, Onic Esports took the win with Kairi’s Aulus at the front with his MVP performance.

Meanwhile, many fans are tainting the team’s win claiming that Onic pretended to have the bug.

Speculations suggest that Onic was outdrafted by Omega which made them to allegedly create a tactical remake.

During the initial drafting of game 3, Onic controversially picked a Bane. Notably, the team replaced their Bane with an Aulus pick which eventually carried them in game 3.

Many fans claim that Onic accidentally picked Bane instead of Aulus which forced them to force a remake.

As of this moment, Onic Esports has yet to comment on the allegations.
