Kuku only has one wish for T1 this TI.

Kuku

T1’s captain Carlo “Kuku” Palad has celebrated his 24th birthday on September 21. The famous Filipino player was surprised by his teammates in Romania where the team is spending their bootcamp.

While putting their focus on the upcoming TI, Kuku’s team still remembered their captain’s birthday by gifting him with a surprise birthday cake.

T1’s coach Park “March” Tae-won who presented the cake also sang a birthday song for the Filipino superstar.

While receiving his gift, Kuku appeared teary-eyed and also shared his gratitude for the organization.

“Thanks T1 Dota 2 you guys make me cry,” Palad told in a Facebook post.

While appearing with tears of joy, Kuku made a birthday wish specifically for his team’s success.

“I wish we will not choke (at) TI,” the player told to which his teammates responded with laughs.

T1 has been in a fierce form since DPC. The team is has been in its best form after placing in the top 3 of multiple A-tier tournaments this year.

Currently, the team has been spending their training in Romania for quite some time now.

While they have already achieved multiple feats this year, it appears that T1 may be aiming for a bigger goal– to lift the Aegis.

The International is the biggest tournament for Dota 2 and is also the tournament with the biggest prize pool among all esports.

Should T1 win TI, Kuku will be the very first Filipino to lift the Aegis.

As of this moment, every Filipino’s eyes are locked on the player as he represents SEA in TI.
